About the Author

David Levin was born in the island city of Galveston. He is a Houston attorney whose practice has given him an intimate view of extreme life experiences. He uses this background to explore compelling storylines: life struggling to become free and to survive, people laboring under heart wrenching despair, the negative side of historic institutions, irrational hatred, the morality of righteous force, and struggles between bipolar interests. His religious upbringing leads the author to have a sanguine outlook for human kind. He and his wife, Peggy, have two sons, three grandchildren, and sibling wheaten terriers.
